Our reports are clear and detailed and are written in a manner that meets the desired format stipulated by the Secretary of State, and satisfy the requirements of the Local Authority Building Control.
Due to our specialised wide range of experience in acoustics and vibration analysis and control our advice is invaluable when it comes to the acoustic design of your development, whether that is a single story house or a multi-plex cinema, with adjoining noise sensitive properties such as a 5 star hotel. Our knowledge will enable reliable advice with regards to which sound proof systems and products perform best in each application, and their advantages and disadvantages of each system.
What happens if the test fails?
Most of the sound insulation tests do pass. However if a test fails, Scenic Acoustic and Vibration will endeavour to identify the weakness and provide guidance on how to improve the sound insulation of the construction. Once mitigation works are completed the failed test element will have to be retested.
As standard with all our reports we supply advice on basic remedial acoustic works, as required after failed tests. Conditions apply to the advice given and time spent dealing with failed tests.
